2007 Miss Latina Racine
 Maria Becerra

   Maria is a Junior at the University of Wisconsin at Parkside  
   majoring in Spanish and Communications.  In addition to her
   studies Maria is an active member of Gamma Alpha Omega
   (GAO) and is currently serving as president of the Parkside
   chapter.  GAO is a community and service conscious
   organization that mentors "Gamma Pals" from local schools,
   Maria has been an active mentor since joining GAO.

Maria is a beacon for young Latina women and her commitment to education and the community make her a wonderful representative of Miss Latina Racine Scholarship Corporation and the community of Racine.
 

How can you help future role models?

Consider making a contribution to the Miss Latina Racine Scholarship Corporation in one or more of the following ways:

• Advertise in the annual banquet program
• Donate an item or service to be auctioned at our annual banquet.
• Monetary donation - Honorary Member donate $1,000 or above, Gold Sponsor donate $500 or above, Silver Sponsor donate $200 or above, Beacon Sponsor a table at the annual banquet to allow Latina youth, who otherwise could no afford to attend the event.
